We are organising a great full day boat trip from the Port Ostriecole in Andernos > Ile aux Oiseaux > Arcachon and then to Cap Ferret for lunch with return trip back to Andernos early evening on :
SATURDAY 17th MAY AT 10:30am
The afternoon is free to discover the area and the return boat trip to Andernos includes an excursion to the Banc d’Arguin and the Dune du Pilat.
The cost of the full day boat trip is 43€ per person (see booking details below) Our modern boat, pictured below, is fully equipped including toilets and can take up to 48 passengers. I have checked with the boat captain and happily (well behaved) dogs are welcome on board!
We are planning a lunch, which is optional and to be paid for on the day, at the Pinasse Café Cabane restaurant (https://www.pinasse-cafe.com/), situated very near to the Bélisaire jetty in Cap Ferret, where we dock at around 12:30pm.
Below is the menu to give you some idea of prices. Of course, for those members who prefer to, you can always bring along a picnic instead.
After lunch there will be plenty of time to relax, enjoy the beach and views and to visit the area, before we embark at 4:25pm from the Bélisaire jetty for the next part of our boat trip with an excursion of around 1h30 to the Dune de Pilat and the Banc d’Arguin. Then, the return trip is along the coast of Cap Ferret and its oyster beds, finally returning to Andernos for an arrival scheduled around 7:25pm.
