VISIT TO THE NEW MUSEE MER MARINE, BACALAN, THURSDAY 10TH OCTOBERLunch at the Bacalan Market and a Guided Visit to the new Musée Mer Marine, Bordeaux, Thursday October 10thPlease join us for lunch in the new city market where we can choose from over 40 stands of food, including charcoal burgers, vegan food, charcuterie and fresh sea food. We will enjoy our choices at a central table where we can soak up the bustling atmosphere. We will meet at the market nearest tram line B, Musee de Vin at 11.45h.After lunch we will walk over to the newly opened Musée Mer Marine. Here we will be given a guided tour of their most treasured pieces in a collection of over 10,000 artifacts from all over the oceans and seas of the world. We will wrap up around 15h30 leaving plenty of time to do some shopping in town or just enjoy the Bacalan quartier. The lunch is paid by you based on what you buy. Visit to the museum is 16 euros and begins at 14h for those who do not want to attend lunch. Places are limited to a maximum of 19 for this visit.
