Television viewing habits of the British in France

tele_surveyCanal+ are conducting a survey to understand which British TV channels are most liked and most missed by ‘brits’ who are resident in France.

Presumably if there was enough interest then Canal+ would consider making a bundle of British TV channels available via the Canal+ television channel.

The survey is short, anonymous and for internal use by Canal+ only.  Available in english or french here.

Would you like to be on the tele!?

True North Productions are working on a new Channel 4 series about British people setting up businesses in France and Spain and right now we are looking for new contributors to feature.

We have been filming in Spain and France for a few months now and have already filmed some really fantastic new businesses set up in the region. I really hope you can help us get in contact with Brits embarking on business ventures you may know from living in the region or by letting people in your Bordeaux British group know what we are doing?

The series will follow a wide range of stories, families and businesses at different stages of their move. We are following some as they pack up their UK homes and head overseas, others are entering their first season in business, some are more established while others may be about to embark on an exciting renovation project.

The show aims to provide a real, true to life insight in to moving abroad through the eyes of enterprising British people.  We want to showcase individuals who, far from putting their feet up and relaxing, are carving themselves new careers and businesses in a foreign country.

We have already made contact with some really inspirational people and are very excited about the series!  Another key part to the show is to highlight the network of organisations and agencies that exist to help ex pats begin and settle into their new lives in Spain or France. We have filmed with various estate agents and our contributors working together.

If you have anyone in mind in the area that are currently starting out a new business, please do get back to me on or on the numbers below. Please also feel free to pass on my contact details to anyone that may be interested in chatting to us or you think would be great for the series. I am happy to answer any questions anyone might have.

Kind Regards,
