Mark the date in your diary to come and join us from 7 pm onwards on Friday 8th December 2023 ! So polish off your dancing shoes, it’s time for fun and to eat, drink and be merry !
The Christmas Party will be held in the Banqueting Suite at the Mercure Hotel, Bordeaux Lac. There is also the added benefit of a tram stop very close by and free parking for those who choose not to stay overnight!
Our evening begins at 7 pm with an aperitif, this is followed by a 3-course dinner, wine and coffee and just for your enjoyment, dinner will be followed by a little light entertainment and dancing into the small hours.

The cost will be 47€ for members and 60€ for non-members/guests. The price includes, aperitif, three course dinner, water, wine and coffee.
Closing date for registration is Friday 1st December.
Reservation for the party will soon be possible on HelloAsso or by contacting Norma or Colette and sending a cheque when we have the menu details
But you can reserve your accommodation now : We have negotiated a special price for our members, rooms including breakfast are 114 € for double occupancy and 100 € for single occupancy.
Room reservations must be made directly with the hotel by calling the reception on 05 56 43 36 72 and YOU MUST STATE THAT YOU ARE ATTENDING THE BORDEAUX BRITISH CHRISTMAS PARTY ON FRIDAY 8th DECEMBER.

CHRISTMAS PARTY ENTERTAINMENT – “THE BBC HAS GOT TALENT“
We don’t often have the opportunity to sing our heart out except maybe under the shower !
For Christmas we have thought of a way to remedy that and give you a chance to perform like an artist with a microphone and a song of your choice in a homemade variety show.
If luckily you have a good voice we will be delighted to hear you or if you don’t, it can be funny, you can still entertain us and we can enjoy a good welcome laugh ! If you prefer to tell a joke or two, great, you might discover your hidden talent.
It won’t be a competition, there are no rewards except for the pleasure of entertaining us for a brief moment… So please, find the words of one of your favourite songs, let us know that you will participate with the title so that we can find an accompanying music playing along… or anything else suitable.
