2018 – India Saga: Lunch and Talk

After Lunch Talk

We have invited BBC member Mick Howarth to share his experiences as a young man in 1960’s India in an illustrated talk and discussion after a good lunch at the Etoile restaurant in Andernos.

He will relate something of the joys and frustrations of being thrown in at the deep end as a lecturer at the age of 21 in a remote university where he was one of only two Europeans – also of his wider travels, visiting Indian students in their homes and other British volunteers on their projects.

If asked, he can also outline the process of self-publishing with Kindle and Amazon.

Mick is currently working on the third volume of his memoirs, Sagar Saga.  The first two are available in both full colour Kindle and paperback formats from Amazon and he will bring a few copies along.
