It is time again for BBC’s annual St George’s Spring Party – and what feast could be more English than a curry?
The celebration starts at midday with an aperitif followed by a 3 course lunch. Wine is not included so please bring your own.
We will be entertained by Clownette and BBClown with magic shows – and maybe something royal as it will be a few days after Her Majesty’s 94th birthday.
Our host: We are delighted to be returning to Nigel’s house www.airialmoustey.com
His house is in the Les Landes forest and just a 35 minute drive from the Rocade.
Dogs are aways welcome Chez Sami – the garden is securely fenced – so bring the whole family!
In previous years this event was fully booked and had a waiting list. Spaces are limited – so in order not to be disappointed, please book early.
Format for the day
The day starts at 12 noon to enjoy an aperitif together before settling down to a three course lunch (buffet style).
- Welcome Aperitif
- Starter (samosas, bhajis, spring rolls)
- Freshly cooked curries (from mild to wild, chicken and vegetarian)
- Selection of desserts (more French than Indian!)

Hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder to us than it was in 2019 and there will not be any unwelcome April showers. We will be outside, but under cover in the BBC open marquees.
