Free at last! Free at last! Come and be part of the first big BBC get together (post restrictions) and celebrate getting back to normality. Charles and Linda will be hosting this year’s summer party in their garden in Sainte Eulalie (just 5 mins from the Pont d’Aquitaine on the A10). See directions below.
The fun will start at midday with a refreshing alcoholic apero and selection of nibbles (non-alcohol apero also available). At 13:30 (ish) a sumptious authentic Paella cooked in traditional Spanish style will be served by our traiteur on the patio together with an alternative non-seafood Paella available for those who may have a seafood allegy (please advise us when booking). Finally for those with a sweet tooth there will be a selection of delicious deserts available.
Seating will be under cover in case of sun or rain and chairs and tables will be provided. However, as in past events in order to keep costs down we ask you to bring your own crockery, cutlery and glasses as well as anything else you wish to eat or drink (wine, beer, water etc).
There is a swimming pool available for use weather permitting but children using the pool must be supervised at all times.
Now for the good part, all this fun, food, drink and merriment can be yours for the fantastically good value price of just 15 euros per member and 20 euros per non-member (Children under 12 free). In effect this price just covers the cost of the Paella, everything else (aperitif, canapes, dessert) is provided by your Bordeaux British association.
Please register for this event with the organizer, Charles Waldren by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org .
If paying by cheque, please make payable to “The Bordeaux British Community”, and post it to our treasurer Mme Catherine Mason , 57 Chemin de Romefort, 33480 AVENSAN .
Or book and pay directly using Helloasso if this is more convenient. Closing date for bookings is 27th August.
