This dramatic, prestigious addition to Bordeaux’s riverside, adjacent to the new Chaban–Delmas bridge is the new Wine Experience, a ‘must’ for all. The interior compliments the exotic exterior !
We have organized a tour at a cost of 18€ per person. La Cite du Vin gives a different view of wine, across the world, across the ages and across all cultures and civilisations. The exhibition space covers 3,000 square metres and there are some twenty different themed areas which take you on a voyage exploring the many facets of wine across time and space.
A pre-programmed ‘guide companion’, available in different languages, will guide you around finishing at the Cite du Vin’s Belvedere, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Bordeaux while sipping a glass of wine from anywhere in the world.
