After the success of our first Walk and Bike Ride outing in January in Mios, we are organising a second one around the Hourtin/Carcans areaon :
TUESDAY 27th MAY
The current plan for the bike ride and walk is to meet in Maubuisson.
For cyclists without bicycles or finding it difficult to transport them it will be possible to hire them as there are two rental shops in Maubuisson :

CYCLISTS
Cycle ride to Carcans which is 10km, on the flat. There is a cycle path all the way, and we will stop for coffee/refreshments in Carcans. Then we cycle the 10km back on the same route.
WALKERS
For walkers there are two possibilities:
- Head east on path alongside beach, flat, easy, pleasant walk,
- Head north on Sentier du Lac, less flat but very pretty, nice views of the lake
Cyclists and walkers will reassemble for lunch in Maubuisson (more details to follow)
